Research Impact Framework
To better assess how we are bridging the gap between research, policy, and practice, GERI has adopted a Research Impact Framework. This Framework enables us to gather greater understanding and insights from the outcome of research findings and allows researchers to guide the planning and monitoring of progress in translating findings to practice and policy.
Read the latest annual report [PDF, 8.8 MB] for selected highlights of real-world impact, which illustrate how outcomes have the potential to contribute to and inform healthy ageing practices, policies or further research.
GERI’s Research Impact Framework was adapted from the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences Impact framework1 and the Australian Medical Research Institute’s Impact Report2 and contextualised for GERI’s research work.
