Dr Shi's research interests include clinical research and health services research, evidence-based medicine, public health policy, health economic evaluation, systematic review and meta-analysis, and observational epidemiological studies.
She earned her MBBS in 1993, went on to complete her MSc in Clinical Sciences in 2022 and later pursued her MSc in Health Economics and Pharmacoeconomics in 2008.
Dr Shi also has more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry with core competence in research methodology, health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), health technology assessment (HTA), evidence-based medicine, public health, healthcare management, and disease surveillance. She has been actively promoting evidence-based practice and policy making in the region by conducting numerous projects and delivering various training workshops.
